Regulation for the

Skier/Snowboard

Below are the basic rules that all skiers and snowboarders who use the slopes must respect and whose transgression will be their sole and exclusive responsibility for any personal and/or property damage caused.

Skier/Snowboarder Regulations

TICKET/PASS: The ticket, or pass, is mandatory for entry and use of slopes and lifts.

RESPECT: Trail users must act respectfully towards the person and property of others. Persons whose conduct in any way endangers those who are in the Ski Center, whether on or off the slopes, may be expelled from the Ski Center, at the sole discretion of the Ski Center administration.

ECOLOGICAL SKIING: The mountains are a beautiful setting to enjoy nature. It is everyone’s responsibility to always keep it clean. Let’s not litter.

PEDESTRIANS ON TRACKS: The entry of pedestrians onto the slopes is strictly prohibited, as is the use of sleds and unauthorized sliding means. Only skiers or snowboarders, with their respective ticket or season pass, are allowed to use the slopes and lifts.

OFF-SLOPE SKIING: La Parva does not allow activities other than those expressly permitted in this or other regulations. Consequently, La Parva is not responsible for those who decide to ski outside the duly marked and signposted slopes; hike, camp or climb; or slide on or off the track by unauthorized means; not even when they were accompanied by professionals or people related to the Ski Center.

SPEED CONTROL: Every skier must maintain a controlled speed based on their skiing ability and level. Consequently, they must remain attentive to the terrain, weather conditions and the number of skiers on the slope.

Racing, jumping or carrying out other disciplines that do not correspond to the events organized or authorized by La Parva, are the exclusive responsibility of those involved in them, with La Parva being empowered to prohibit them at any time. It is strictly prohibited to install mesh, demarcation poles, make mounds to raise the terrain or any other element that alters the appearance of the slopes and are outside the events organized or authorized by La Parva.

PREFERENCES ON THE TRACK: The skier who descends and overtakes another has the obligation to avoid the skier passed, the latter always having the preference. The skier coming from an interconnecting path or a side slope must give way to the skier who is on the slope.

After each stop, the skier must give way to the skier coming down. One cannot cross or interfere with ski classes or enter the training and/or competition slopes.

STOP ON SLOPES: All skiers must avoid stopping in narrow places and/or those without visibility. If they must stop, they must do so on the side of the track. In the event of a fall, the skier must remove him or herself from the slope traffic as quickly as possible.

EQUIPMENT: Every skier must keep their equipment in perfect condition and it must be adjusted for their weight, size and level of skiing. The use of brakes on skis is mandatory, as well as safety straps on snowboards.

ASSISTANCE ON THE SLOPE: Any person who witnesses an accident must, as far as possible, notify the Ski Center’s slope safety services and identify themselves.

INFORMATION, MARKINGS AND SIGNALING: The skier must be informed about the daily weather conditions, snow conditions, slope conditions and their demands. In this regard, the level of difficulty of the slopes is duly marked and is as follows:

  • GREEN TRACK: Beginner Level
  • BLUE TRACK: Medium Level
  • RED TRACK: Advanced Level
  • BLACK TRACK: Expert Level

Likewise, the signage of certain slopes intended exclusively for skiing or snowboarding, as the case may be, must be respected.
